Spring
This year the Jaguar Hockey Club will participate in the Prairie State Spring Co-Op. We’ve received significant feedback from Presidents, Hockey Directors, and families expressing a desire for a structured spring hockey program that goes beyond in-house scrimmages and tournaments, while still allowing flexibility for other sports and activities.
We are excited to announce the Prairie State Spring Hockey Co-Op. This cooperative initiative was developed with input from clubs to provide a streamlined, development-focused experience during the off-season. By starting small, we can refine and improve the program in its inaugural season. Participating clubs include the Jaguars, Bulldogs, Chargers, Cyclones, Sabres, Vikings, Hawks, Huskies, and Timberwolves.
The Co-Op emphasizes skill development, game strategy, and team cohesion, with 4-6 level-based games and scrimmages against similarly skilled opponents. Unlike tournaments, which often present inconsistent competition and logistical challenges, the Co-Op ensures balanced competition without the pressure of league standings.
